Euro Gas has made a number of key appointments in response to the company’s recent growth and success and its commitment to building an effective management and support team.
Euro Gas Ltd. are delighted to welcome James Porter and Nick Eldridge to the team.
James has been in the commercial heating industry for the past 16 years with the last 5 years with the market-leading commercial boiler manufacturer, Remeha, where we at Euro Gas Ltd. would have worked closely with him. He has worked closely with various mechanical consultants, local authorities and mechanical contractors helping them to achieve the best possible outcome on their projects. James’ success in this role saw him promoted to Sales Director 3 years ago.
James is very much looking forward to using his experience to help to develop the business within Euro Gas Ltd. and is excited about the new challenge. He is particularly looking forward to meeting new clients and customers and work alongside some friendly and familiar faces.
He is a keen golfer so looking forward to finding new courses to play in Ireland. In addition he also plays hockey and has been an active member of his local hockey club for the past 25 years. With his two children also involved in hockey, Euro Gas hope they are strengthening Hockey Ireland’s chances of future Olympic success (that’s if we cannot get a hurley in their hands). James is also a big fan of live sport, whatever shaped ball… he will be there, generally with a pint in his hand!
Again we would like to take the opportunity of welcoming James, his wife Julie and their two children to Ireland and wish them every success in the future.
Just to make sure that the 6 Nations Championship has a cutting edge in Euro Gas Ltd. in the future, we are also delighted to welcome Nick Eldridge to join us. Nick is new to the Mechanical Services sector however his past experience means he is swapping ships for plant rooms and brings with him over 12 years of radar system design and project management experience.
Nick is very much looking forward to using his experience to help to develop the business within Euro Gas Ltd., he is excited about the challenge of getting to grips with a new technology and supporting our customers. We believe his past experience should complement the ever increasing element of electronics and controls within our products and help us to continue to offer a level of service that is expected from consultants and contractors.
Nick is originally from Aberystwyth, Wales (don’t hold that against him, our Celtic cousins are the Irish that couldn’t swim!), he now lives in Wexford and is married to Muireann. Nick is a keen golfer, triathlete and follower of motorbike racing, especially MotoGP.
Commenting on the recent appointments, Martin Garvey, Managing Director, said: “Euro Gas is growing from strength to strength and this growth can be attributed to the strength of our team and our overarching goal of delivering value for our clients. These recent appointments further complement our overall capabilities. Please introduce yourself to James and Nick and join us in welcoming them to the team.”
