As the newest member of the Euro Gas team, what are your thoughts on the industry six months later?
Coming from a Defence background, HVAC is a completely new industry for me.  It’s interesting to see how the drive towards environmental protection and how product innovations develop from that.  It feels like a relatively small, friendly industry where everyone knows each other.

What does your job involve?
On a day-to-day basis, I am mainly office based.  Answering the phones, producing
quotations and building relationships with our customers.

What products do you most enjoy working on?
I was lucky enough to join Euro Gas at a time we were delivering a fairly new product line for us – the Fortes Heat Interface Units.  These are fantastic products that we installed in the Mill Street and Gardiner Street student residences, with more going into Brunswick Street and Blackpitts.  I’m also looking forward to the release of two more products for us this year, especially the Remeha Quinta Pro 55kW boiler.

What makes Euro Gas a great company to work for?
Agile, friendly, customer-focused and technically minded.  It’s clear to understand how we’ve been so successful over the years and why our customers enjoy dealing with us.  Everyone in the office has great industry experience and a technical understanding of the products, they are happy to share that knowledge and experience with me – it’s also great craic in the office!

What do you like to do outside of Euro Gas?
I live in Wexford, so I travel early each morning to train in the gym each morning.  I became interested in Triathlon last year and will be competing in Ironman Wales in September.
